Building routines is only half the job — the Widgets page is where you turn on the three places customers actually see them. Open Widgets from the top navigation.
Post-Purchase Routine Email
Emails the shopper their matching routine right after checkout, so they can follow it from their inbox.
- Click Enable to start sending (or Disable to pause).
- Click Customize to change how the email looks — see Customize your post-purchase email.
Routines Widget (storefront)
A routines block you can place on product pages or any storefront section, so shoppers can follow the right order on your store.
- Click Add to theme. LayerWise creates a Routines page on your store and opens your theme editor.
- In the theme editor, add and position the LayerWise block, then Save.
Best-Matched Routine Widget (thank-you page)
Shows the single best-matched routine for what the customer just bought, right on the order confirmation (thank-you) page.
- Click Add to theme. This opens Shopify's checkout & thank-you editor.
- Add the LayerWise app block to the thank-you page, then Save.
How LayerWise picks which routine to show
LayerWise matches a routine to an order when one of the routine's steps uses a product in that order. Only active routines are eligible. If more than one routine matches the same product, the winner is decided by your matching rule in Settings — see Common questions.
App blocks require an Online Store 2.0 theme. If a block doesn't appear in the theme editor, confirm your theme supports app blocks.
